Feminism is not a war between men and women: Sania Saeed

Areeba Siddiqui — Thu, 23 Nov 2023 08:26:12 +0000

Renowned actress and theatre artist Sania Saeed’s recent appearance on the Podcast by Adnan Faisal has left viewers and readers quite impressed by her perspective on what true feminism is.

In contradiction to the popular understanding of what feminism represents, Sania Saeed shares how this ideology is relevant for both men and women and infact highly essential for men.

She further explains how feminism is not just limited to women, infact it plays a pivotal role for many men out there and is not a war between both the genders. She shares that this concept has been severely distorted and accustomed to the mainstream ideologies whereas that is not the case. The entire purpose is to create a safe society where our mothers, sisters and daughters can enjoy their freedom without any fear. Infact when she leaves the house, she should be considered the daughter of not just the neighbourhood, but the entire country.

The actress stated “it is not a war! It includes the man who cannot sleep at night because his daughter is out in an extremely unsafe environment’.

Audiences have shared massive appreciation for this progressive thought process and insights shared by the senior artist on how this society needs to work on changing the typical norms and offer behavioural therapy for those men that are actively posing to be problematic and infact require help. She states “It is also about the driver who keeps adjusting his rearview mirror to stare at women. You think he is a normal person? This is the behavior of a disturbed individual! We need to work for him too”.

ITS TWITTER VS THREADS NOW !!

FHM Pakistan — Tue, 11 Jul 2023 09:27:59 +0000

We all know about the most popular social media application that is “Twitter”. It was created by the richest man in the world Elon Musk who is also the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. Twitter is an American social networking platform which is originally located in San Francisco, California. Twitter is basically a freedom of speech platform for every individual person, cast or anyone. It is basically a platform to discuss and talk about your matters, life issues or share anything that you are comfortable with, Twitter is very different from other social media applications.

As we all talk about twitter, Instagram and Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg who is also one of the richest man in the world, has recently launched an app “Threads” to give competition to Twitter. It was launched five days ago on 5th of July 2023, and has received more than 100 million followers on the application within the span of just five days. Elon Musk showed disappointment over this “Threads” app and he also tweeted “Competition is okay, Cheating is not”. Twitter also sued Mark Zuckerberg for copying cheating his application Twitter. But seems like people are still confused between Twitter and Threads app!

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES….

FHM Pakistan — Sat, 17 Jun 2023 09:10:29 +0000

I think childhood memories is the best part of our lives. Life as a child is always way better than the life as an adult. As a child we get to experience a lot of new things. These sort of childhood memories are long lasting forever. We all remember our favorite moments and time of childhood. We all have good and bad childhood memories. I remember when I was a kid, my favorite part was to spend as much time as possible at my Nani’s place. There I used to have so much fun with my cousins and my other maternal side relatives. The funny and silly incidents that took place when were kids. Playing outside with friends, cycling, night stays at cousin’s place, doing silly things, playing pranks on our siblings, playing in mud, going to the zoo in vacations, we have all grown up so fast no ?

We do miss our childhood more now after growing up because life as a child was so care free, full of happiness, tension free, no regret of anything or anyone. The things or lessons we learn as a child stays in mind and heart with us for lifetime. It gives us the strength to live positive life in tough situations.

JUST GO WITH THE FLOW !

FHM Pakistan — Fri, 05 May 2023 10:45:55 +0000

Have you ever heard about this quote “Go with the flow” ? Well this is the most common quote which basically means to continue doing what ever you want to do in life without worrying about the consequences that what will happen if we do this or what if that happens. I think we all think a bit too much, we over think a lot about every little thing in our lives. Our relationships be it with family or love life or with friends, we are always thinking about what will be the consequences of it. What I have learnt in my life is too just “to go with the flow” without thinking about the future or people about what will happen next. Live in the present, live every moment of your life that is “Now”. Because if you are going to think and worry about your future while ignoring your present than you will left with nothing at all. If you go with the flow, you let things happen or let other people tell you what to do, rather than trying to control what happens yourself.

IS CHAI BETTER THAN COFFEE ?

FHM Pakistan — Fri, 28 Apr 2023 07:07:30 +0000

Chai or Coffee, What would you prefer ? Well this a long debate if we start asking everyone about it whether Coffee is better or Chai aka Tea is better. See, there are two types of people in this world, ones who love Chai and ones who love Coffee. If you ask me about it than i would say that i am a big fan if Chai aka Tea. Not gonna lie but I am addicted to Chai, its like a drug to me honestly. i do like Coffee too but Chai ki baat tou alag hoti haina phir! Well both of them have Caffeine. But Coffee has twice more caffeine than tea has that is why Coffee gives more energy boost than Tea.

Coffee is usually new generation’s favourite addiction, may be because of the caffeine that hits differently. i have always seen old people, labour and all these old generation people preferring Chai over Coffee. So, in the end i would always choose Chai over Coffee or any other addictive Caffeine drink.

Even when I think about it I just go crazy it is my over the top favourite destination in the world. I wish I could live there. Basically Bora Bora is a small south pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. It is basically a volcanic island. The Tahitian spelling of which is ‘PoraPora’ which means ‘First Born’ in their tradition. Although it’s original name was ‘Vavau’. Basically, It is actually most famous because of its over the ocean Resorts. I mean it’s breathtaking, the view, the weather, sea everything is just so peaceful and beautiful at Bora Bora island.
