Sunsilk Passions come to life in Karachi

Sunsilk, the global hair care brand, has been creating much noise around the passions that a girl can relate to – namely music, adventure, nature, art and fashion. After the grand display in Lahore at the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week, these passions were exquisitely brought to life at an all-inclusive bloggers meet with the designers on June 12th in Karachi at Dolmen Mall, Clifton.

The Sunsilk girl is one who is resourceful and optimistic on her journey between girlhood and womanhood; she wants to explore all the possibilities and passions she innately has. By partnering with leading designers and having each of them design a Sunsilk Fashion Edition bottle, the passions came to life. For each of the variants; Stunning Black Shine, Perfect Straight, Hairfall Solution, Lusciously Thick & Long, Nourishing Soft & Smooth, Anti-Dandruff and Long & Healthy one passion each was assigned to them – Khaadi for Nature, Generation for Art, Sania Masktaiya for Adventure, Sana Safinaz for Fashion and HSY for Music.

The event started off with key media influencers going through the creative installation, showcasing three out of five passions the Sunsilk girl relates to. The display for each passion depicted a particular look and feel – nature portrayed a free spirited and outdoorsy feel, Music signified a more edgy and bold look while Art depicted one of having freedom of expression and a fashion sense of their own. This also acted as the perfect photo-op and led to everyone taking fun and quirky images.

Asima Haq, Marketing Director at Unilever Pakistan, said, “Sunsilk understands the millennial girl who wants to lead a full life of Adventure, Music, Art, Fashion and be at one with Nature. Our Fashion Edition this year, celebrates all these passions and allows our consumer a glimpse into different worlds.”

“Every girl is passionate about something or the other and with Sunsilk Passions the idea is to integrate the two in a manner that fits perfectly,” said Rabia Aftab, Brand Manager of Sunsilk. “The young consumer understands that the definition of fashion has evolved from just an outfit to a top to toe look with hair as the crowning glory. Taking this forward collaborating with Pakistan’s top designers will allow Sunsilk Fashion Edition bottles to inspire and excite our consumers.”

The activation will last another day for the public to experience all the Sunsilk Passions and along with that they can even avail hairdo services on purchase of Sunsilk bottles.

Among the attendees were key media influencers along with Shamoon Sultan of Khaadi, Umair Tabani, Sania Maskatiya, Safinaz Muneer, Areeba Habib, Zhalay Sarhadi, Hina Altaf, Fatima Zehra Malik, Natasha Baig and many more.
