Jackie Aina paid homage to iconic ‘black women’ in her Anastasia Beverly Hills Campaign!

There’s a lot of competition among beauty influencers on YouTube, but Jackie Aina has claimed her territory. Vlogging on the platform for a decade now, Jackie has amassed a following of three million fans on YouTube and over one million followers on Instagram. Outside of sharing her iconic makeup looks and her eye-catching outfits, the 32-year-old beauty aficionado has always spoken up for black women in the beauty industry. From calling on brands to expand into darker foundation shades to side-eyeing “ashy” palettes that don’t complement medium to deep skin tones, she’s the clapback queen that we definitely stan.

Earlier in August, Jackie announced an exciting new palette in collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills. In true Jackie fashion, the 14 shade palette, which is full of matte tones, soft metallics, and sparkling hues, is straight glam. Makeup brands often collaborate with influencers, but it’s rare to see them tap influencers of color so this is huge not only for Jackie, but for the makeup community as a whole. Not only do Jackie’s fans love her and support her every move, but she’s a pioneer in the industry who knows what she’s doing and gives everyone just what they need, which she did by providing a palette that is glam and for everyone.

Ranging from shimmering metallics to bold plum and pink colors, while these hues look good on everyone they’re especially made for medium to dark complexions. With shade names like “Edges”and “Lituation,” the shadows speak to Jackie’s personality and the black culture.
