ACF officials robbed in Karachi, request for donations

Ayesha Chundigar Foundation (ACF), a non-profit organisation based in Sindh capital, has requested the public for donations after two of their employees were robbed of cash and other valuables.

Sharing the incident on their official Facebook page with their followers, the Foundation said their workers were on their way to the office in the vehicle when they were intercepted by armed robbers and robbed them of the salary of nearly 25 of their employees.

Not only cash was being snatched on gunpoint, but also other things being taken away included the official ACF cheque book and stamp, laptops, hard drives with all their official data of many years, wallets and everything else they had.

Here is the elaborated post by ACF:

Several people responded to the sad incident and expressed their support to ACF through their comments:

Anyone willing to help the organization to bear the loss can contribute by transferring money to ACF’s bank accounts. The details of the bank accounts are also being added at the end of the post.

Ayesha Chundigar Foundation (ACF) was founded in 2013. The organisation rescues and rehabilitates stray injured animals and also works with other marginalized communities that society normally ignores.

ACF has been approved/certified by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) and i-Care Foundation. In addition, ACF has been granted an Income Tax Exemption by FBR under Section 2(36)(c) which makes all donations made to ACF tax-exempt.
