‘Ehsaas Ramzan’ OST: A Soulful Track Touching the Right Chords

As the blessed month of Ramzan begins, like every year, Geo TV network will host a Ramzan transmission titled “Ehsaas Ramzan’, for which they have released their official OST. Sung in the soothing voice of acclaimed singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the OST captures the true essence of Ramzan. It is a beautiful track and the poetry and soulful lyrics directly reach your heart.

The track’s lyrics start off with ‘Allah se Qurbat ke liye khaas hai Ramzan’ and continue to tell us the ways through which we can earn His pleasure and can be close to Him. The OST emphasizes on the virtues of patience, respect and empathy, which is the true spirit of this holy month. The video shows people performing acts that blend completely with these very virtues, to inspire us to do such positive acts too in this holy month. The OST highlights the importance of ‘Ehsaas’ and generosity throughout and the lyrics give the message of its significance clearly.

The music, composed by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan along with his powerful vocals, makes it a treat to listen to and touches all the right chords within you. A remarkable production of Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, the lyrics of the OST have been written by Sabir Zafar and the video has been directed by Zeeshan Haider.

Geo TV’s Ramzan Transmission ‘Ehsaas Ramzan’ will begin from the first of the holy month i.e. Today May 6, 2019 and will continue till the last day of Ramzan. The transmission will be hosted by Rabia Anum and will include a series of programs focused on the true teachings of Islam. The main focus is on ‘Ehsaas’ and Geo TV’s transmission will keep this theme as central in their programs. Let’s see how they incorporate it throughout the month in ‘Ehsaas Ramzan’.
