Talita von Furstenberg has designed her first fashion collection

Talita von Furstenberg has designed her first fashion collection. The 19-year-old granddaughter of Diane von Furstenberg has put together a capsule collection for her grandmother’s line, which is filled with floaty summer dresses and separates.

The collection is entitled ‘TVF for DVF’ and marks the first of what Talita hopes will become a long career following in her grandmother’s footsteps.

“I’ve looked up to my grandmother my whole life and she has successfully leveraged a fashion empire to help and inspire countless women,” Talita said in a statement. “I hope to follow in her same footsteps.”

On Instagram, she talked about her inspiration for the collection: “I designed TVF for DVF as a reflection of my personal style — feminine and soft. The entire collection gives off happy, warm, and effortless vibes that make it easy to blend into your own wardrobe.”

For the past two years, Talita has been studying at Georgetown University while also serving as a DVF muse and furthering her design experience (she has been helping out and learning from her grandmother since she was 6) at the brand’s studios. Today is the day that Talita puts what she’s been learning on display, launching TVF for DVF, Talita’s first capsule collection. The capsule collection is made up of 23 pieces and, like DVF, is full of prints and dresses, but tailored to Talita’s generation, in both design and price point (it’s all under $300).

Talita – who is currently studying at Georgetown University – has worked with her grandmother’s business before, in a modelling capacity, acting as the face of the brand’s autumn/winter 2018 collection. Before this, she modelled for Dolce & Gabbana and appeared in Teen Vogue.
