The Simpsons’ showrunner Al Jean confirms series has ‘no plans to end’ after Danny Elfman claims

The Simpsons writer Al Jean has shut down claims from composer Danny Elfman that the long-running cartoon is coming to an end after 31 years. In fact, the series is thriving, and there is currently nothing in place to suggest any kind of slowing down. Legendary composer Danny, who wrote the theme song and the show’s music, recently said that he’d heard the show would be finishing soon.
