A Turkish girl’s “Dil Dil Pakistan” tribute to Junaid Jamshed is going viral

Junaid Jamshed departed from this world and left our soul and hearts empty, with big voids to fill in. Definitely, no one could replace or take the place which this legend had made in our hearts. Since his death, tributes from around the world have been flooding in, one after another. This time again, a young Turkish girl has given a heartfelt tribute to late singer cum televangelist by singing “Dil Dil Pakistan”.

Noor Yelmez’s tribute to Junaid Jamshed might not be the conventional Urdu or the type of song we would like to hear, but it is definitely heart-wrenching to see that people from around the world adored him so much but he is no more with us. She totally deserve to break the internet, with her rendition of “Dil Dil Pakistan,” is completely an understatement. Because, copying something that has been ranked 3rd in 2003’s BBC World Service international poll of popular songs is not an easy task.

This tribute without any doubt reminded us of the Vital Sign Days and the charm J.J had and always will have on us.

Previously, two other Turkish men Emirhan Özdemir and ağrı Hakan Eser paid tribute to Junaid Jamshed too by singing Aitbaar. Seems like Turkey was as mesmerized with J.J as us.
