Bollywoood celebrities welcomed Pakistani cinema owners decision to end over two month long ban

Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Kajol have welcomed Pakistani cinema owners’ decision to end the long ban on Bollywood films.

Bollywood is popular in Pakistan, and the self-imposed suspension is reported to have led to a dramatic loss of revenue.

Happy with the development, Priyanka said, “Art should go across the world. I have always believed that. So, I am glad about it.” Kajol added that she is happy that it is a great sign for the film industry.
“Anything where the film industry gets a brick, where the film industry gets a positive sign etc, I am all for the film industry.”

Kajol also praised the move, calling it a positive sign for the industry. She said that she supports every decision that is to benefit the Indian film industry.

Anil Kapoor also lauded the decision, saying that he is extremely happy over the decision taken by the Pakistani cinema.

Cinema owners said that despite tense relations between the Indian and Pakistani governments, trade between the two neighboring nations has not been halted.
