Game of Thrones onscreen and now offscreen love birds Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have finally announced their engagement.
The two met on the sets while filming the show’s second seasons while playing Jon Snow and Ygritte in 2012. The two made their first public debut together on the red carpet at Olivier Awards.
“It was “easy” to fall in love with Leslie,” Harington told, terming the filming of the second season in Iceland as the most memorable moments of the show.
“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he said. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
