Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham set for TV remake

In the event that you thought amazing family adventures were a thing of past, here’s a news that will jar you back to reality – Karan Johar’s 2001 film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham will soon be made into a TV series. The film highlighted Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Kajol and Jaya Bachchan in lead parts.

As indicated by a Mumbai Mirror report, Ekta Kapoor is making the TV series of the hit film. It cited a source as saying, “Bijoy Anand, who played Kajol’s wayward life partner in the 1998 romcom Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, has been thrown to play Amitabh Bachchan’s patriarch, Yashvardhan Raichand, while Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi performing artist Erica Fernandes is in converses with play either Kajol’s loquacious Anjali or her more youthful sister, Pooja (advanced by Kareena as ‘Crap’). The part will be finished after a look test.”

Ekta had recently posted a tweet hinting at the project. She wrote, “A family soap after years !!! Mostly done love stories recently with a backdrop of family!! This soap will air on SONY …a family that eats together stays together NOOOO a family that accepts each other stays together.”

 

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was the narrative of a two children, one of them being embraced. The family breaks separated, just to return together and understanding that powers of profound devotion are no less solid than those of blood. Kareena played Hrithik’s adoration intrigue while Kajol was SRK’s onscreen spouse in the motion picture that additionally highlighted Rani Mukerji in a guest appearance.
