The snake was spotted by the man in South East Asia, who said it bore a ‘striking resemblance’ to his former lover whom he lost five years ago.

Sandeep is understood to have taken the Buddhist theory that people are reincarnated as animals. He believes that his girlfriend was reborn as this white cobra after she passed away few years ago.

He and the 10ft snake spend every day together watching TV, sharing romantic picnics by the lake, playing board games and going to the gym as a couple.

Sandeep have been warned several times that it is dangerous but he still carries on.
