She is playing a role of a 16 year old girl who is curious to know about a woman who lives in her neighborhood and hasn’t left the house for 20 years. The story revolves around family values, love and relationships – in short it’s a basic film about humanity.

The director approached her after watching her music based TV show, followed her dramas and realized that Madiha is the perfect choice for the role.

The movie is low budget but has strong family values in it, the story in itself is very strong. This is why Madiha couldn’t say no to the film. Unfortunately, she can’t promote the movie in India, but she will do special shows to promote what she has done and is hoping that the film will release in Pakistan so that her family and friends could see her amazing work.

The trailer will come out on May 4th and the release date is still not confirmed. Let’s hope Dear Maya will get a green signal in Pakistan!
