Movie Review: Chhalawa is a fun filled roller coaster ride you wouldn’t want to miss!

Chhalawa is an exciting family film all set to entertain us this Eid-ul-Fitr! The premiere of Chhalawa was a star studded and the event took place on the 2nd June at Nueplex. This light hearted movie showcases the amazing cast such as the beautiful Mehwish Hayat, the dapper Azfar Rehman along with very cute Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui and very good looking Asad Siddiqui, along with Mehmood Aslam, and Ashir Wajahat in pivotal roles with many other reputed names of the industry.

Ahad Raza Mir, Maya Ali, Asim Azhar, Hania Amir, Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane, Bushra Ansari and Deepak Perwani walked the Red Carpet of Chhalawa along with other well-known names of the industry plus socialites, journalists and media channels.

Chhalawa is a fun filled roller coaster. The plot is about a girl Zoya whose character is played by Mehwish Hayat who wants to have her ‘happily ever after’ but is forced to tie the knot with her not-so-worthy cousin. She’s fierce, she’s emotional and above all, she’s head strong.

Apart from her, Azfar Rehman plays the role of Sameer – a city boy who falls in love with the simple girl and will go an extra mile to be with her and in that process, he learns the importance of love. He’s funny he’s romantic and he’s passionate about Zoya. The excellent chemistry between Hayat and Rehman is visible in the movie.

Moreover, Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui who plays the role of Haya gave us major Bushra Ansari vibes in the film with her top-notch Punjabi accent and goofy role while she romances her way with Asad Siddiqi.

The film is no doubt a visual treat and from the acting to the art direction, action, romance, the dance numbers, music, costumes, emotional plot twists and humor – Chhalawa is a movie which will be a value for your money.

Head to your nearest Cinema and book your tickets for Chhalawa which won’t fail to entertain you and your family. Chhalawa is all set to grace the screens and promises that you’ll be glued to the screens this Eid-ul-Fitr!
