UBER claims of operating without call center service for customers

Well, it seems as though Uber is losing its worth as the days go by. With complaints rushing in due to the absence of a proper customer service via phone calls, Uber users are getting fed up with its faulty management.

Recently, two complaints were emailed to us that were discussed by Uber users who claimed that they were charged with an additional Rs. 150/- as cancellation charges, even though they did not cancel the rides; because of the absence of a call center, they seemed to be left unaided.

The first complainant sent these screen shots claiming that the driver had canceled the ride due to a punctured tyre, whereas the customer was charged even of that cancellation. Why, the customer asks!

Wait what? Uber has no customer service management!

Wait what? Uber has no customer service management!

On reaching the concerned department to file a complaint, this is the reply the customer received;

Wait what? Uber has no customer service management!

Soon after we come across another complaint where the customer said that she was charged with a cancellation that she didn’t even place, in fact was called by another Uber driver asking for the pick up location while she was riding an Uber. Confusing, no?

I mean how can you ride an Uber and be called by another Uber driver at the same time? Well, once again the customer was charged with an additional Rs. 150/- for NOT cancelling any ride, as claimed by the app.

Wait what? Uber has no customer service management!

Similarly, this user too sent a message for customer support, however due to the absence of this service at Uber, she was left unanswered.

Wait what? Uber has no customer service management!

After receiving these complaints, the first and last question that struck my mind was how Uber was even able to operate this long in a country without the presence of a call center for customer service?

What’s left for us to actually assure that Uber is safe to travel and even trustworthy of an investment for business men with the lacking of one of the most important service center? A company running nationwide without diversified departments for customer desired operations is clearly a question for all of us, as citizens, who want to be safe and secure just a click away!
