Anxiety is in our blood… Am I doing it right ?

As the world is rapidly growing, so are our problems. In the past when no internet or gadgets excited us much, without social media being in presence the world was undeniably a better place.

Depression and Anxiety are two things constantly faced in today’s generation, where as in the past, these problems did not excite us on such a large scale. Everywhere in the world, people face anxiety and it is very normal to have anxiety and depression.  Nevertheless, what we neglect is that anxiety is infectious and0 that people don’t take it seriously which is becoming more risky. If they see someone going through it instead of reaching to help, they ignore it.

Talking on the basis of my personal experience, sometimes you are feeling low, you feel like energy has been drained out from your body and it’s been replaced with pain. You are in a state of coma and on the edge of mental breakdown, crying and feeling lonely and you have no idea how to cope with this feeling or how to open up. Some people reach out, but others get involved deeply and risk their mental health.

However, in the case of introverts, it’s effecting badly – people who are introverts in nature have a hard time to open up about their issues. It is difficult for them being the center of attention; they fear social encounters with strangers and being highlighted publicly.

It’s sad, actually. because my anxiety keeps me from enjoying things as much as i should at this age. “

Today, we feel more anxious on little things, which should not be the case but our society is forcing us to feel such way. Everywhere, you see its competition and race to be the best one; you are ready to accept one’s quality and abilities, so what they do is neglect and step one another down to depression and can cause serious harm to one’s mental conditions and health.

This is one of the reason people feel stressed inferior and your thoughts form anxiety. This will lead in difficulties to cope with daily tasks, assessments and face-to-face interactions. You have so many examples in the Pakistani industry, who battled out of this and are now strong examples for us.

There is no shame in seeking help, nothing is greater than your mental health and believe me when I say that no one will reach you if you do not present yourself to others. The world may be getting meaner day by day, but you should be open to yourself so the good ones can at least reach you in your bad times.

However, if you feel it’s hard suggesting you on my own ways of treating anxiety, write whenever you feel low or if cannot write then record your emotions. It’s the best remedy, as an alternative of facing people or going for a therapist, these two things will help you feel better and are good for your mental state.

When you write, your thoughts are clear and no one is going to judge you for your words or feeling same goes for recording your notes, it’s a therapeutic way. And try to read books on self-motivation, positiveness and upstaging so you feel diverted and can have a clear vision.
