Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder I’m sure this is a phrase that we have all heard. If we think more deeply what beauty actually means it will take pages to define that yet no specific way to define.
For me beauty lies within it’s what the purpose within you is your character your attitude. Having said that not all think like me our society has set some major beauty standards which make the life of a girl next door extremely difficult to match.
Body shaming is indeed very common in our society the size zero bar is definitely an unrealistic standard set specially for women and hence sets the air depression and insecurity amongst the younger generation. It’s not just women but even men face such Standars as well.
Color shaming is also very common and not to forget the expectations of women having perfectly straight shiny hair perfectly cut with no frizz at all. I mean why is frizz considered such a bad omen.
I just believe we should promote more of realistic Standars rather than raising the bar so high that a normal person cannot think of reaching.
