After Amjad Sabri’s unfortunate demise, LSA this year paid tribute to the legend. And no other singer would have performed it better than Ali Zafar. With his mesmerizing vocals and ear-melting Qawwali, Ali Zafar made us think that he is capable of singing almost every genre.
Now, the singer-cum-actor will be singing a qawwali in an upcoming Punjabi film. In his statement to the Indian Media, Ali Zafar revealed:
“I am proactive towards my passion for music. I want to explore all the verticals of music from romantic songs to qawwalis to rock scores and anthems. There is a request for a qawwali in a Punjabi film.”
Apart from performing a qawwali in the movie, Zafar will also be seen delivering a few Punjabi dialogues. The actor is reportedly working on his Punjabi diction.
