Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor have started shooting for the film and we are all very excited. Shahid and Deepika will be sharing the screen for the first time. Shahid is playing Deepika’s husband, Raja Ratan Rawal Singh, while Ranveer will be seen as a smart ruler Alauddin Khilji. Shahid and Deepika have bonded quite well on the sets. But it looks like Shahid is not comfortable getting intimate with Deepika in Padmavati and the reason behind it is his wife, Mira Rajput.
While Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone won’t have any romantic scenes in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati as the story doesn’t involve that, there may not be any close or kissing scenes between Shahid Kapoor and Deepika also in the film. “Though they play husband and wife they won’t have any love making scenes in the film, let alone a kiss.
While speaking about his movie scenes, Shahid revealed that, “I am not comfortable getting intimate with Deepika in Padmavati and the reason behind is my wife Mira.”
Shahid who is newly married, didn’t know how Mira will react. He and Bhansali had a conversation and decided to do away with some really steamy scenes that were planned. Indeed Mira will be extremely happy with Shahid’s decision.
