Ashton Kutcher former co-star Natalie Portman has spoken out about the gender pay gap in Hollywood.
In an interview with a renowned magazine, Portman revealed that she was paid three times less than her male co-star Ashton Kutcher for her role.
“Compared to men, in most professions, women make 80 cents to the dollar. in Hollywood we are making 30 cents to the dollar”
The 35-year-old actress, who won an Oscar in 2011 for her performance in Black Swan, made the comments in light of her upcoming role in the critically-acclaimed dramatisation about former First Lady, Jackie Kennedy.
