International human-rights lawyer Amal Clooney is laying down the law against Donald Trump’s ban on Muslims.
George Clooney’s glamorous other half, by the hate-mongering mogul’s presidential campaign, slammed his freakish proposal for a shutdown on Muslims entering the United States in a recent interview.
“If you actually look at what he specifically says in that now sort of infamous speech about Muslims he kept saying, ‘They only want jihad, they don’t believe in our way of life, they don’t respect our system,” Clooney said.
Clooney spoke out against Trump’s proposed Muslim registry referring to them as “violations of international human-rights law and the values that underlie that,” noting that “there’s some concern from abroad as to are these things actually going to happen, or is the U.S. going to lose some of the moral standing that it has internationally.”
