Meet Rimal Ali – country’s first trans model to star in a music video
There is no positive representation for trans people in Pakistan media and Rima Ali is trying to change this.
Rimal’s debut in this video is a huge step forward.
Facing a lot of discrimination in the industry she said, ‘ I am not here for sex i am here for work. I have suffered a lot and lost a lot of good projects because models don’t want to work with a transgender model.’
In a nutshell, its good to see people giving a platform to trans people, clearing the path for them to push forward.
