Shahid Kapoor who is gearing up for his third collaboration with favourite director Vishal Bhardwaj will not be dancing his boots off, as the film sees Shahid compete with Rusi Billimoria played by Saif Ali Khan for Kangana Ranaut’s Miss Julia’s affections
According to Shahid,
“My character is a soldier, of the rank of a ‘jemadar’. He’s always on the job, in the middle of jungles, in war, saving the heroine. It was a grueling experience. We shot in the middle of Arunachal Pradesh, with no network, no electricity, no place to eat. We lived in cabins that were built specially for the unit to stay in.”
He further said, “It is difficult to say that I picked up on anything from them. They are both very talented actors who bring a lot to the table. Watching them perform is always a learning experience.”
