The wait is finally over as the team behind Janaan is now pleased to present a new comedy film Parchi, starring Ali Rehman Khan, Hareem Farooq, Usman Mukhtar, Ahmed Ali and Shafqat Khan.
The one-minute clip shows Hareem as a dominant character, beating a man who apparently seemed to have been taken as a hostage. It also focuses on the male leads of the movie and Ali briefly shows Rehman as Bash, Usman as Bilal, Ahmed as Saqlain and Shafqat as Bhola.
We know very little about the content of the film, except for its obviously quirky title, Parchi. The name ‘Parchi’ is a common term used to describe the concept of ‘sifarish’ in our country, so our most plausible assumption involves the film revolve around the culture of nepotism in Pakistan.
Parchi is planned for release in December this year or January 2018.
