Gender pay disparity has always been the talk of the town. Of late, post ‘Padmavat’, Deepika Padukone was in the news for being the highest paid actress in Bollywood as reportedly she charged more than Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for ‘Padmaavat‘.
Deepika talking to a media house has confessed that she demanded the amount because she deserved it for the role.
The latest what we came across is that not Deepika Padukone but Kangana Ranaut is the highest paid actress in Bollywood. Report stated that Kangana Ranaut has charged the whooping amount of 14 crore for her upcoming magnum opus ‘Manikarnika-The Queen Of Jhansi’. According to Kangana it all depends on the role which she does as every film has its own journey.
After director Krish left the biopic, Kangana donned the director’s hat and weighed the responsibility with grace. Finally, after a lot of hurdles, the film has is complete and is all set to release on 25th of Janauary, 2019.
