Anushka Sharma: Bollywood breeds insecurity in actors

Anushka Sharma has made her way up in Bollywood with her beauty and acting skills. Her first film with Shah Rukh Khan Rabb Ne Bana Di Jodi was a complete hit. Her latest film Sui Dhagga turned out to be box office success. In an interview with Indian Express the actress talked about how Bollywood breeds insecurities in actors,

“The industry is such that it breeds insecurity in actors, insecurities benefits everyone, it benefits producers, they pit one against the other and reduce their fees. It benefits the media, it gets them to write juicy stories about them,” she said. She explained how everyone falls prey to this web created and it is very difficult not to fall for it.

She also talked about how Bollywood tried affecting her when she was young and started working in the Industry however she didn’t allow the pressure to change her beliefs or choices along the way. She continuously strived not to make wrong decisions in her life and how she never wanted to do unconventional roles. She always wanted to do films that speak with people on different level.
