People are not aware of child pornography but it’s something very important to understand so we can protect children from it. Gossip Girl star, Blake Lively recently gave a speech at the annual luncheon about child pornography. Being a mother of three children, she got emotional in her speech. Lively spoke about her work with Child Rescue Coalition, which seeks to remove child pornography from the Internet. Also, multiple examples of the horrors of exploitation of trafficking of child pornography. While giving her speech, Blake said, “I was afraid to ask what it was, as a mother, because it would be painful to hear. But I felt I had to ask, and I wanted to share it with you. It is the truth, and I believe if we all knew this, we would dedicate much more of ourselves to stopping it.”
In our country where animal rape is taking place and it’s horrific, we need to learn and participate in the cause of Child Rescue Coalition. The organization is working on promoting a new technology that finds the IP addresses of people who share and download sexually explicit pictures of minors.
