After Rihanna and Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez is the next celebrity to work on a beauty brand.
According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the actor and singer filed a trademark for ‘Selena Gomez’ on July 11 for a number of beauty products, including “fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils,” among others.
She is the second celeb in 2019 to do so, with Ariana Grande having filed to trademark a ‘Thank U, Next’ beauty line.
While this may be Selena’s own beauty line, the actor has previously collaborated many times with brands like Adrenalina Inc. with whom she has her signature fragrance, along with clothing companies like Puma and Coach. Looks like she knows what she’s doing!
Selena Gomez has not yet spoken about the matter.
