After months of speculation, Janet Jackson has confirmed that she is pregnant at the age of 50. It will be a first child for the All for You singer and her Qatari billionaire, businessman husband; Wissam Al Mana, 41.
“We thank God for our blessing,” She said.
The pop star has opened up in the past about wanting children, and said she would also consider adoption.
Natural pregnancies are highly unusual, but not impossible, for women past their mid-40s, but vitriol fertilization can extend the age at which women can have children. Multiple reports say Jacksons’ pregnancy was made possible with the use of donor eggs.
