JAY-Z and Beyonce are supposed to be trailblazers, right? Some fans are accusing them of ripping off Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian in his iconic “Bound 2” music video for their On The Run II tour promo pictures.
The controversy started last week when the couple’s On the Run II tour was announced on social media.
On March 12, Beyoncé shared a promotional photo for the tour on Instagram which shows the Halo singer sat on the back of a motorcycle that Jay-Z is riding.
Many users compared the picture to Kanye and Kim’s shots in the Bound 2 music video. Released in 2013, the video shows Kanye and Kim also cosying up on a motorcycle.
“Kanye and Kim,” one commenter wrote on the picture. While another Instagram user replied, “Kanye asked for his idea back. Kanye and Kim did a music video like this already.”
Since announcing On the Run II, Jay and Bey have been spotted in Jamaica, filming for the tour.
