Bollywood industry is men centric. When an actress gets married her career somehow finishes or she gets second lead in movies.
Recently in an event, when a reporter asked a question from Kajol about her being extra picky about her roles, she replied that this industry is very uncertain and an actress who was once a superstar has to struggle for her comeback. In another question, Kajol applauded her popular ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ co-star Shah Rukh Khan for showing the courage to take up a small role in a film like ‘Dear Zindagi’ which had Alia Bhatt as the central character. She hopes there are more such actors and directors who come with such roles and films which empowers women.
