Renowned Pakistani actress Armeena Rana Khan has been nominated in for “Best Actress” in film category at The Eastern Eye Arts, Culture & Theatre Awards (ACTAs) for her role as Meena in Janaan. The event is scheduled to take place in London, United Kingdom on Sunday May 21.
Janaan’s success is largely credited to the charming personality of Armeena and her chemistry with the lead actor Bilal Ashraf.
Other nominations in the category also include Sanam Saeed for Rahm and Indira Verma.
The Eastern Eye Arts, Culture & Theatre Awards (ACTAs) are held in Britain to showcase South Asian talent in arts and culture. The awards are created by the Asian Media & Marketing Group (AMG), publishers of Britain’s fashion and lifestyle magazine Eastern Eye.
Currently, the British-Pakistani actress Armeena is working in an upcoming British action film, The Real Target.
