One of the best Pakistani films to have been made in recent times, Cake The Film, is now getting ready for its Netflix premiere. The film’s directer, Asim Abbasi, shared a post on Twitter hinting at the film being available on the biggest streaming giant, making its digital debut.

Cake The film starred Aamina Sheikh, Sanam Saeed and Adnan Malik in pivotal roles. The film told the story of a dysfunctional family with the eldest daughter giving up her dreams and aspirations to take care of her ailing parents.
Cake not only earned critical acclaim in Pakistan but it was Pakistan’s first film to have its premiere in London’s West End and get rave reviews from international critics and audiences as well.
