People are grooving to Abrar ul Haq’s Coke Studio rendition of ‘Billo’

For the second episode of Coke Studio 12, Rohail Hyatt brought Abrar ul Haq center stage for a contemporary rendition of his iconic hit song, ‘Billo’.

According to CS, “Billo takes us down memory lane as Abrar Ul Haq takes the stage in a whirlwind of rap and bhangra, reimagining the song’s quirk filled craze in full Punjabi zest.”

From the video, you can tell everyone on set was having a ball shooting the track and looks like they’re not the only ones who enjoyed walking down memory lane.

Everyone is in love with the song because it was our jam back in the day and Pakistani Twitter seems to agree. Is it a 90s kid thing?
