With only the protagonist being able to understand him, and him being the opposite of the cute pokemon, the film was set to have its fair share of humour along with an interesting plot. But looks like Detective Pikachu is not done getting us excited.
The film just dropped its latest trailer and while it gives us a better idea of what the plot of the movie is, it also shows us more Pokemon. And the Pokemon.
Ryan Reynold’s Pikachu has no memory of his origins, save for an address that leads him to the human protagonist, Tim, who is on a mission to find his father. The two team up to solve the mystery in a world full of Bulbasaurs, Charizards and… Mewtwo!?
That’s right, the infamous Pokemon makes a brief entry in the trailer and if you have any fandom affiliated to Pokemon, you know we’re excited for this guy!
Detective Pikachu releases May 10.
