The living cricket legend and former T20 skipper Shahid Afridi has revealed that he once smashed a TV set at home when he saw his wife watching an Indian drama serial on Star Plus.
Afridi came about telling the story during an interview on a private TV channel; the all-rounder said that he lost his temper when he saw his wife watching a Hindu ritual with his daughters, on the Indian channel and conclusively smashed the TV set. Though the reason couldn’t be more funnier but it definitely had the spark to lit anger in a Pathan like our Lala.
Afridi said although his wife doesn’t watch much TV, but she was quite fond of those Indian dramas. “So I told her that she can watch (the Indian dramas) alone but our children are not allowed,” Afridi said in the interview.
