Oscar Lady Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be conducting an exclusive one-on-one session with Bollywood director Karan Johar today, 18-01-2017. The session will be conducted during the 47th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters.
According to the details, the discussion has been titled as; ‘A conversation with Karan Johar and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’.
Apart from conducting a session with ace Bollywood director, Sharmeen will also be taking part in a panel discussion titled; ‘A Positive Narrative for the Global Community’ with famed names including Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Meg Whitman, Afghanistan National Institute of Music founder Ahmad Sarmast and Facebook CEO Sheryl Sandberg. This discussion will be headed by BBC World News presenter Zeinab Badawi.
Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy also conducted a session earlier with discussions on topics including the art to bring people together, language of hate, and art to enhance empathy.
Sharmeen is the first documentary filmmaker ever to co-chair the forum.
