Production companies Karan Johar and Dharma productions announced that Tiger Shroff will be the lead in the movie.
The film Student of the year will be directed by Punit Malhotra.
The original movie was directed by Karan Johar, the cast included Aliya Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra who are well knowns stars in bollywood now.
