According to sources, it has been revealed that the famous veteran actor Farooq Zameer was admitted to CMH, Lahore after encountering breathing problems. However, he could not recover and passed away Thursday evening.
Family sources said that his funeral will be held in Lahore on Saturday.
The actor started his career from PTV in the 90s and shot to fame for his role in various television series, including Guriya, Surag-e-Zindagi and Shamali.
He has acted in many Pakistani films as well. Farooq was frequently seen on ARY, worked few hit dramas like Khandan-e-Shughlia and Mukmala Aur Mahira.
He will sure be immensely missed. May his soul rest in peace!
