Television, film and stage Qazi Wajid peacefully passed away in Karachi. He was admitted to hospital recently due to ill health.
Qazi Wajid started his career from Radio Pakistan. He was considered among pioneers radio industry in the country. He worked on Radio for 25 years.
He was part of many memorable TV dramas including Tanhaiyan, Dhoop Kinaray, Khuda Ki Basti and Taleem-e-Baligha’n. Mr Wajid was a man to remember. “He worked in many of my dramas and plays, he was a brilliant actor” Anwar Maqsood expressed.
Javed Sheikh and actress Robeena Ashraf also expressed the grief on his death praising his work ethics and personality.
He has left a void that can never be filled May he Rest in Peace!
