Wasim Akram’s house in Garden Town area has been looted of valuables by his maids.
As revealed by police, in a highly organized manner; the maids succeeded to get away with jewelry worth millions and Rs 42,000 in cash.
Before stealing jewelry and money, Imaan and Fatima- a part of the household staff- drugged Wasim Akram’s mother.
The statement by former skipper’s mother, who was in a hazy state, hints that the maids took away nine gold bangles and some rings which were in her hands. She has demanded that the culprits should be arrested right away.
The Garden Town Police has arrested the driver and further investigation is underway.
