However, the writer of the serial, Farhat Ishtiaq has responded to the criticism hinting that there’s more to the story:
Responding to a tweet that implied that audiences were jumping to conclusions, Ishtiaq wrote: “Thanks for your confidence. InshaAllah will never romanticize rape, sexual harassment, misogyny.”
Guess we’ll just have to wait for the drama to air and see what’s really going on.
