2017 - A good movie year for the film buffs

So far this year, we have seen some epic movies; Longan, Kong, Skull Island, Fast & Furious 8 and of course quite recently we saw GOTG 2 and Alien Covenant. But for all the movie lovers, I can happily tell you that we still have some amazing on-screen magic waiting for us.

I say, 2017 is going to be a good movie year, because we are still going to see movies like the Dark Tower, which has a stellar cast. It would be awesome to see Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey collide on the big screen, also it will be interesting to see Matthew playing the badie.

The list of these movies just keeps on getting better and better, because next up is our favourite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp returns as our beloved, sarcastic and ever entertaining Captain Jack Sparrow for the fifth part of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and the budget for this movie is $320 million. Jack Sparrow has gotten himself in quite the pickel, with ghost sailors and an old Nemesis Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), who has escaped from the Devils Triangle and our beloved must find the legendary Trident of the Greek God Position.

Moving on, we come to the the Universe of the Transformers. The Last Knight tells the story of Humans being at the war with the transformers and Optimus Prime is gone. The answer to saving the world lies buried in the secrets of the past and the hidden history of transformers on Earth. Mark Wahlberg stars as Cade Yeager, Anthony Hopkins as an English Lord and Laura Haddock as an Oxford Professor – they all have to work together to save the world.

Even though there are a lot of movies that would be coming this year, I would like to end this blog on one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This movie will take us on a journey of the further adventures of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley), and I think that we might be getting answers to some very important questions from the past.
