Pakistani artists given a deadline to leave India within 48 hours

An extremist group affiliated with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has given Pakistani artists a deadline to leave India in 48-hours.

As per reports by the Indian media, a member of MNS, Amey Khopkar threatened to beat up Pakistani artists, including those who cast them in their productions. “Paksitani artists will be beaten up and so will the producers and directors,” he said.

The MNS will push them out. He also cautioned them of serious outcome if they continue to shoot in Mumbai or Maharashtra.

Just a couple of days ago, a Bollywood journalist, Soumyadipta Banerjee, encouraged his country’s film makers to ban Fawwad Khan and asked the noted actor to leave the country.
