It’s good to see Kate Middleton in limelight since she has become part of the Royal family. While her royal in-laws have been depicted on famous Netflix series The Crown along with other television biopics, Kate Middleton has inspired Mike Bartlett enough to get a TV portrayal of her own.
Charlotte Riley – The Peak Blinders fame has beeen chosen to play the role of the Duchess of Cambridge in a TV adaption of the play King Charles III. According to Charlotte, “Kate Middleton is a really interesting woman, particularly within the context of this play, and it is a challenge I am really looking forward to.”
The play written by Mike Bartlett is an imagined story of Prince Charles (father-in-law to Kate Middleton) assuming the throne after the Queen’s death.
Just by thinking about the biopic I can imagine the royal-ness of the show. I hope Charlotte plays an incredible role and do justice with the Duchess.
