Rishi Kapoor was trolled all over social media for his tweets against Pakistan during the ICC Champions Trophy.
Now recently, Ranbir Kapoor came forward and talked about is father’s tweets. Ranbir was sitting with Pakistani media to talk about his movie, Jagga Jasoos, when the matter about his father’s tweets came up.
The interviewer questioned Ranbir about his father’s tweets around cricket, to which the actor said, “I have never really been a cricket fan, and that football was my cup of tea.” Ranbir said, “My father didn’t really think twice” and wasn’t a “hypocrite”.
He further said that “[my father] gets himself into a lot of trouble also…sometimes he’ll tweet something after a certain time, but he doesn’t mean harm”.
