Fashion model, Risila Binte Wazier, apparently hung herself while she was on a video call with her husband Imrul Hasan. That’s when her mom and some family members rushed over to her apartment only to find Risila unresponsive.
The model was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Her four-year-old daughter was at her grandmother’s home at the time.
Police officer Abu Bakar Siddique at Gulshan police station told that they suspect marital disputes may have played a role in the young model’s suicide.
The model was studying to obtain her undergraduate degree in English Literature and was also pursuing her modeling career.
