Junaid Khan’s version of ‘Zindagi mai tou sab hi’

Junaid Khan pays tribute to amazing vocalist Mehdi Hassan on his 91st birthday.

He released his version of ‘Zindagi mai tou Sab hi’ and he tried to give it the Call touch he’s known for.

He added the correct parity of the Eastern and rock music. One can see the motivation of the first track inside the combination. Khan gives a valiant effort to give the spread a unique take and that is exactly how we like our spreads; with another translation that despite everything gives recognition to the first.

“In Pakistan, there are a few vocalists that I’m so inspired from,” said Junaid. “Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Mehdi Hassan are two names that are on top. Their voices, vocals, texture, tone and expression, I’ve always been a fan of.”

He added, “Of course I can’t even think of matching the skill set of his but I thought that as a humble tribute I should give to this wonderful voice that Pakistan still cherishes. That’s why I thought to do this song in my own style.
