Aamir Khan is one celebrity known for avoiding award ceremonies for a long time.The actor has been preaching this ‘no award policy’ since years and the reason behind this is none other than the king of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan.
The actor was pretty upset when he didn’t win the best actor award for Rangeela at Filmfare awards in 1996, Aamir felt he deserved that trophy. It is said that he was first approached for blockbuster DDLG, But he refused to take that project.
Since then Aamir has decide not to grace any Indian award functions even though most of the prestigious ceremonies have continued to nominate Aamir Khan.
