Hugh Grant, who has swooned moviegoers with romantic flicks but had eluded marriage, has wed for the first time, according to British media.
Media reported the news on Friday involving the 57-year-old movie star and Swedish TV producer Anna Eberstein.
The couple have three children together, and Grant has two other kids from former partner Tinglan Hong.
A wedding announcement for Eberstein and Grant was recently circulated in newspapers, the as reported earlier this month.
Grant once told satellite radio host Howard Stern that he didn’t think human beings are meant to be in 40-year monogamous relationships.
Stern countered the actor promoted romance in his movies.
“I think there’s something unromantic about marriage. You’re closing yourself off,” Grant said.
Still, the couple were shown in photos Friday wearing rings and smiling.
